Steel’s sustainability credentials are under increasing scrutiny. For example, through the New Zealand Government’s tendering process and changes proposed to the Building Code as indicated in the Ministry for Business Innovation and Employment’s Building for Climate Change programme.
To assist the steel industry to respond to questions about the sustainability credentials of steel, and proactively promote its benefits we have developed a fact sheet outlining Six reasons to choose steel and six reasons why it’s good for intergenerational wellbeing
This resource will also help provide a unified voice from the steel industry through consistent messages that challenge entrenched views about steel and lead to changes in perceptions.
